Swallow House Reception (Building with Clock)

Training and Conference Centre,
Kents Hill Park, Timbold Drive,
Kents Hill Park,
Milton Keynes MK7 6TT
Our delegates really enjoy our NLP courses and find them tremendously
valuable. There is very little that you need to do beforehand, however,
please continue reading!
You must register a place using our
seminar registration system. This ensures we can contact you in the
unlikely event there are any last minute changes.
If you have any questions, please call 01908 506563 and leave a message,
well get back to your shortly.
Please note that all Milton Keynes courses are held at the
Training and Conference Centre, Milton Keynes .
Please also note that meals and overnight accommodation are NOT included
in the seminar fees. We DO provide lunch and unlimited tea and coffee.
We aim to create an environment where you can have an enjoyable time
and learn as an active participant. To help you get the most out of your
time, please consider the following:
There is no formal dress code for our seminars. Dress comfortably.
Treat the seminar as the beginning of an adventure, come to have fun,
to learn and explore. You may choose to read one or two
NLP books or
listen to some NLP CD or DVDs, but that's NOT necessary.
It is more important that you come with an open attitude and watch and
listen in order to make up your own mind. We let you borrow a selection
of books during the seminar, so you can choose further reading later if
you wish.
On the first day, we strongly suggest you arrive by 9:30am so you are
not rushed. The seminar will begin at 10.00am.
On subsequent days, the seminars will now also begin at 10:00am. This
gives you plenty of time to arrive, have a workout or swim at the
on-site sports centre and / or complete your emails and urgent phone
calls. We normally
end each day at 5:30pm. We will give time for those that are interested
to stay and ask questions or watch some NLP videos.
On the final day, we aim to finish by 4pm.
For your convenience, the Accenture Training Centre has its own
accommodation and we recommend this during your stay, please contact
telephone 01908 358040 to book.
Some delegates like to stay at the Milton Keynes Hilton (01908 694433)
about 400 yards away.
We can include accommodation within your training invoice, however there is a small surcharge for this.
You will receive a Practitioners Manual - which applies to all Practitioner seminars, together with an individual set of exercises for the Master Practitioner Modules. Please hold on to the manual! It is a very useful reminder of your training.
The content of the seminars has been modelled from exceptional communicators. Trust the process. The key capabilities we suggest that you focus on are:
We strongly recommend that you play with all of the exercises that we offer, but do let us know if something really doesn't feel right.
Our approach is to demonstrate, get you to do an exercise, evaluate
the result, and then give feedback. We are interested in how things work
and what works rather than why things work.
This can be a real challenge to delegates with a 'theoretical' learning
style - we ask you to stay with us. We are more interested in helping
you get the exercises into the muscle memory, because this will enable
you to do things in practice, after the seminar has ended.
It is a condition of attending our seminars that you treat all business and personal details discussed as confidential.
You may at times feel uncomfortable and/or confused. This is part of
the learning process, but its how you react to the states of discomfort
and confusion that's important. Its one of our goals to ensure that you
leave in a positive state, so let us know if were not on track.
Some of our best practitioners felt a bit confused at the end of the
foundation seminar, but still chose to continue to other modules, and
gained out of the experience because of it. Sometimes you need to
'unlearn' what you've been taught before in order to benefit from the
new training.
A small number of delegates find that a number of quite powerful issues
and opportunities surface soon after a seminar. This is one of the
benefits of our approach. We're very happy to spend time helping you
'unpick' them after the seminar. However you have to ask!
We don't oversell our seminars and we generally like to keep class sizes small and we will run the seminar if the numbers are very low. This normally leads to far greater learning. You will be genuinely delighted with what you learn!
We run evening sessions of either videos or additional exercises as part of our seminars on the middle days of our seminars. These are totally voluntary and normally last about 2 hours after the main session ends.
We're all friendly and approachable; were here to help, so please just ask!
We are open to feedback, although we do not use feedback forms at the
end of any course.
In the unlikely event you're unhappy for any reason let us know there
and then please do not wait until the end of the seminar!
After any seminar has finished we would be delighted if you completed
our on line NLP
course feedback form.
A strong point with our seminars is that you can use them as a communications 'top up' and just enjoy the process, or else as the starting point to become a master of the process. If its the later we do recommend further reading, listening and seminars. We can provide further information on any of these at any stage for you.
